They’ve dropped a new trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 with the original song “Runway,” performed by Lady Gaga and Doechii. We remain not-mad. Thoughts below:

Meryl looks stunning in the posters, as she should. We would have loved it if Miranda had spent the entire film having no idea who Andy is, as the teaser trailer hinted, but it would seem that’s not the story we’re going to get. So far, this isn’t necessarily feeling like a total rehash of the original film, even if the trailers are hitting some of the same beats. Our only wish is that Andy, who’s no intern or ingenue at this point, tells Miranda to shut the fuck up and get the fuck over herself. If she spends the film allowing herself to be insulted or mistreated, we’re just not sure what the point would be.

Twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in 20th Century Studios’ “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation. The film is directed by David Frankel, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, produced by Wendy Finerman, and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt and Aline Brosh McKenna.
