It’s been a while since this happened and we’re honestly kind of thrilled that it did because it reminds us that we’re not crusty old bloggers too set in our ways to evolve. We’re talking about Rachel Weisz’s choice of outfit for the London screening of her Dead Ringers series. See, we kinda hated it on sight…
But now we can’t seem to find one thing wrong with it. We guess we originally thought it was too plain? Understyled? Who knows where our minds were during our pre-dawn editorial meeting. All we know now is that this looks pretty great on her and we don’t have one critique or suggestion. It’s simple, but it works. All of the impact is in the color and the richness of the textile. We suppose she could have zhuzhed it up somehow; added more jewelry or wore it open with some sort of focus-pulling top. None of those would be bad ideas, but the more we look at this, the more we appreciate it’s no-fuss competence and confidence. She looks great.
