The cast of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story – and also Alicia Keys, for some reason – served some pretty dramatic looks at the LA premiere.

The kids came correct. Mostly. He looks presentable, but we think a prince in a romance story should be working a little harder for the promotional work. Whatever that thing is one his jacket, it’s not interesting enough to overcome the boringness of the look.

This is gorgeous. We think we might have liked a richer color story for her than this, but it’s a great melding of old world fashion and modern style. We don’t even mind the bows, because they look like an element you’d see on an 18th century gown.

The dress is dramatically gorgeous, and the hair and makeup are flawless. The footwear is honestly kind of terrible.

We’re not really sure why she’s there, but this is a pretty fun, sexy look. It looks a little odd against the high romantic looks of the castmembers, though. The accentuated shoulder is awkward and we’re not convinced on the fringe (we never are), but aside from those complaints, she looks pretty great.

This is gorgeously regal and dramatic. We’re looking at a potentially catastrophic amount of lemon yellow satin, but she’s handling it like it’s nothing more than a basic LBD. It looks like it’s a robe with a keyhole cutout over a sheer bodysuit or some such thing, but we really wish we couldn’t see any of that. A style like this doesn’t call for sheer or cutouts, so the addition of them feels rather forced.
