Angela Bassett did the thing. Again. This is way cuter than it has a right to be, but despite nearly everything about it (let’s just say several of the elements have gone past their T Lo expiration dates), we absolutely love this for her. That sash was a fantastic idea, although we don’t love that green with the pink. We’re glad she posed without the bag because the outfit is honestly much better without it. Voting for the Oscars had closed by this point, so you can look at this as a brief victory lap at the end of her campaigning period. She went a little Barbie to mark the occasion and we love that for her. She looks gorgeous.
