And now, a refreshing change. After days of shoving Golden Globes gowns in your face, it’s kind of nice to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Danai Gurira working a little bit of Beetlejuice Chic as she sashayed into the Colbert studios.
It’s perfect. We have no notes. We think a lot of wearers would be overwhelmed by those stripes, but Miss Danai has long established herself as a lady who can handle a whole lot of look. After all, it’s not like those Dora Milaje costumes are salutes to minimalism.
