Baby2Baby Gala 2022 Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on November 14, 2022

It’s the Baby2Baby Gala! When a whole bunch of ladystars get really gowny in support of raising funds for children living in poverty! Who could possibly have a problem with that? No one, but we’ll give it our best shot.

Alexandra Daddario in Monique Lhuillier

Oh, we’re just teasing. The red carpet rules are always a little different for charity events, although it should be clear by now that this is a highly glamorous, fashion-heavy charity event. She looks great. Maybe the lip is just a little too bright, but nothing wrong with a gal sporting some colorful slap with a glittery dress.

Ciara in Dolce & Gabbana

The gloves make it look a little too much like a sexy chauffeur’s uniform. We like the idea of the jacket paired with leggings, but the blacks need to match.

Emma Roberts in Alexandre Vauthier Couture

Extremely low-key. If this were a premiere or something, we might have been bitchy about it, but if she wants to keep things minimal, this is a good night for it.

Jessica Alba in Carolina Herrera

Miss Jessica, on the other hand, opted for full Baby2Baby-branded glamour. It’s not our favorite design in the world, but it’s also not wrong for an event like this one.

Julie Bowen in Dolce & Gabbana

The design is fine, but that shade of green is terrible for her.

Kelly Rowland in Georges Chakra Couture

Absolutely gorgeous. No notes. That bodice is stunning.

Kerry Washington in Sergio Hudson

How could we possibly argue with any of that.

Kim Kardashian in Balenciaga

Kim was the 2022 Baby2Baby Guest of Honor, which may be why she opted to get away from her funereal sci-fi shrouds and into something with a little lightness to it, even if it does look not less difficult to wear than any of her other style choices. This is probably damning it with faint praise, but we don’t hate it. Not feeling the doll purse or boots, but the dress really works for her.

Kris Jenner in Elie Saab

We’d like it a lot more if the skirt didn’t have so much of a flare to it.

Kylie Jenner in Loewe

The whole bottom half is inexplicable.

Olivia Wilde in Magda Butrym

It’s okay, but it seems a little showy for an event like this.

Zooey Deschanel in Vintage Nina Ricci

It seems like the volume is thisclose to overwhelming her, but the color look spectacular on her and she can mostly handle the fuss of the garment.
