The weather in our neck of the woods turned suddenly autumnal after a long stretch of summer-adjacent temperatures and Miss Lea Michele met the moment in a coat that looks more than a little blankety. In other, only marginally related news, “blankety” does not get picked up by spell check because of the phrase “blankety blank.” Now you know. Anyway, Lea’s coat:

It’s way too cazh a look for us to be bitchy about the details. As much as we don’t like fringe, it pretty much makes the coat here. It’s perfect for dashing from the door to the limo on the way to the theater. Love the boots, bag and shades. Covid sort of put the kibosh on two things from which this site has never quite recovered: dishing on sidewalk outfits and serving up Celebrity Coat Porn. The latter used to be something of an annual tradition around here, but there are far fewer celebs getting papped in discussable outfits as there used to be in the Before Times. We’re hoping there’s a reversal of that trend and we get to see some primo outerwear in the coming months, since a lot of fashion houses had to go several seasons without celebrities parading around in it on the streets.
