Congratulations on your success, ladies of Blackpink! And by that we are referring to this, your very first T Lo post. You’ve arrived, darlings! Now let’s assess.
Lisa is in Celine, Jisoo is in Dior, Jennie Kim is in Chanel, and Rosé is in Saint Laurent. We love every look except one and we bet you can guess which one it is.
First, we like how they each look so distinct from each other yet there’s a certain sense of cohesion – not just because they’re all in black, but because there are little callbacks in the designs; a matching neckline, a similar cutout, a train or trailing sash. It’s not so much that they look like they belong to a group so much as they look like they’re all attending the same party. We like Lisa’s Celine the most, possibly because she’s got a killer necklace and she’s not wearing black pumps. Jennie Kim’s Chanel is our second-fave, although we tend to think the skirt and the top would be better off paired with different items. Rosé’s Saint Laurent is okay, but we hate the placement of that sash and all the foofaraw going on right at the front. But it’s Jisoo’s Dior that works the least for us. That top and that skirt don’t belong together at all.
