Y’know, there are just so many reasons to root for Lucy Liu here. First, she’s getting her coin from American Express. We hope it was fat, girl. Second, she’s showing that she knows how to dress for the occasion.
And third: She makes all this corporate branding looks so breezily chic and fun.
Why, yes. That does seem like a totally natural thing to do, Lucy Liu. You’re so good at this.
Seriously, we hope the check was fat and she got to keep the dress. Picking up some extra change is never a thing we’ll get huffy about in this economy. Go for it, lady. And this is honestly a really cute look for her, both with and without the shades. She stands out from the backdrop, but more importantly, she just looks fabulous in it. Love that print.
