The cast of Thirteen Lives came out for the LA premiere and we’re happy to report that 2/3 of the gentlemen actually delivered looks worth looking at.

Despite the lack of a belt or a shirt, we think this looks pretty good. He’s the kind of guy who can wear a ribbed tank top with a suit and not come off sleazy in a bad way. He’s the kind of “sleazy in a good way,” in other words. It helps that the suit is nice and the shoes are good. Granted, we think a lightweight suit and a tank top pair a little oddly with suede shoes, but that’s a minor quibble. In a perfect world, he’d be standing there with his jacket buttoned to complete the look.

We’d like this dress so much more in a rich color, where the overworked quality of the design isn’t so evident. It’s an interesting gown and we appreciate the minimal styling, but putty-colored pumps are a terrible choice for it.

Viggo, come on. Yes, you still have great hair, but it’s not enough to make us miss that awful shirt.

This is a great summer suit and we love the color on him as well as the choice of loafers, but we sill think it’s a little weird to be wearing suede with a lightweight suit. We only wish the jacket had two buttons (we loathe suit jackets with more buttons than that) and that the shirt had a little more weight and heft to it. It looks a little too flimsy for such a nice suit.
