One of the better things about this rather dry post-awards season/pre-summer blockbuster period has been the return of the C-list red carpet event, something we didn’t even realized we missed during lockdown. We don’t say that to be mean about any of the attendees of an event like this. John and Chrissy can’t rightly be called C-list stars by any measure. But there’s a certain kind of red carpet event where the number of people on it who are household names is a mere fraction of the overall attendance. These are the red carpets for charity events or book launches or other forms of celebrity-based PR exercises that don’t revolve around movies, TV shows, albums or awards. John and Chrissy are the king and queen of this sort of event, largely because she LOVES to hit any red carpet that’ll have her.

It’s a really cute, fun dress that suits her perfectly, although we’re forced to admit that we’re probably feeling kindly toward it because it’s  a dress that knows when to stop being sheer and doesn’t have its feathers placed somewhere completely bizarre, like the elbows or at the shoulders. We’ve been seeing a lot of those lately. We question whether that color is the best for her, though. Maybe it’s just bad lighting, but we’d swear that green is bouncing off her face. He looks great. It’s a really nice suit, but he has a tendency to wear his jackets a skosh too tight and his pants a weensy-bit too short. Sorry to throw all these highly technical fashion terms at you.
