We just finished going through the same thing with Kristen Stewart. Anyway, y’all know we loathe turtlenecks, but we would be fools to pretend like this look wasn’t working like gangbusters for Penn Badgley.

It was the Insta shot that really sold it for us, partially because the lighting is much better and also because it may be one of those ensembles that’s better for standing than sitting. It would have looked pretty amazing on a red carpet. The color looks amazing on him, the shoes provide exactly the amount of contrast the look needs and the entire thing works in large part because of the grooming, which suits it perfectly.
