We’re only subjecting Miss Kirby’s look to a vote because we’re giddy at the prospect of having regular “IN or OUT” posts again; not because we have any particular issues with it.
We admit, the blonde hair is a bit of a shock, given her long preference for wearing it natural, but if you can’t get a little Josephine Baker realness going on when you’re sporting Dior on a red carpet, then when CAN you? The dress itself is rather simple and basic old-school elegance, couture-style. It’s also that rare instance of a sheer dress that doesn’t bother us. We like this look even if we’re not bowled over by it. What do you think? No, really. We’re asking.
