Why Miss Kelly. Look at you, getting it all exactly right. Are we being a little backhanded by sounding surprised? Forgive us, then. It’s just that the outfit you wore for work the other day had a distinct set of issues and it feels like this followup frock course-corrects on all of it. She sometimes has issues with proportions because she likes to play with volume and silhouette but doesn’t always land on the right combinations for her.

While we might consider the shoulder treatment to be a bit too much on the exuberant side, she still benefits greatly from an accentuated shoulder, a well-placed belt, and a peplum. We tend to think her best fashion has a bit of an edge to it; not quite “rocker chick” but adjacent to it. Details like big belts and bold silhouettes work great for her, especially if she can work in a little sparkle or shimmer. This may have been a bit too dark for the studio, but the shape, style and details all look fabulous on her, standing or sitting.
