Amanda Seyfried in Giambattista Valli for the Costume Designers Guild Awards

Posted on April 14, 2021

Yet another style swerve from Miss Amanda. It’s at the point now where every outfit she unveils tends to be wildly different from the previous one (a bold print track suit and a gothy Dior, FYI). We’re loving that because it speaks to an Oscar campaign strategy that’s all about making people like us buzz with excitement and provide her more coverage. Voting starts soon so every frock counts, right?

It’s cute, if a little heavy-looking. We wonder if it wouldn’t look a bit more balance with a pair of tights. Do we love the big bow? No, but we’re willing to entertain the idea that it wouldn’t bug as much if she was standing on a red carpet or sitting in a TV talk show studio. Still, she looks cute and we’re surprised by how much we like the headband.
