The content gods have blessed us with an abundance of celebrity style content as the Oscars ceremony gets a little bigger on the horizon. We’ll be diving into the BAFTAs shortly, but we felt like Mank star and Oscar nominee Amanda Seyfried’s look for the Santa Barbara Film Festival was worthy of a stop and look.

That’s a beautifully eye-catching look, in no small part because the color story is so unusual for an Oscar campaign. It’s even more unusual considering the looks she’s been utilizing throughout this promotional campaign. She really leaned into the Hollywood siren thing for a while there, which suits her, of course. But this feels way more chic and high-fashion than the glam looks that have been her go-to. We realize that folks will likely focus on the raggedy sweater (which we love in combination with that glorious skirt), but we can’t tear our eyes away from the Cinderella shoes, which really don’t feel like they go with the rest of it.
