We have some high fashion lewks in the pipeline for today, just waiting for your judgment, but we figure you could use some help easing into the week with someone who just doesn’t place a lot of fussy impositions on herself. Let Miss Michelle Pfeiffer be your guide in all things.

Now, it’s hard to argue against low-key comfort in these uncertain times, but we’re gonna do it anyway. Sort of. We love the idea behind this look but we think it could have been zhuzhed just a little bit for a better effect. The dress is cute and the textile is rich, but it’s quite clearly at least a size too large on her. We get that she wants a looser fit, but at the very least, we’d have rec’d getting the sleeves a little more fitted and maybe raising the hem a little. In a similar vein, we appreciate the footwear choice but we think she could’ve gotten the same effect and the same level of comfort with a pair that didn’t look quite so dingy.

Still, she’s Michelle Damn Pfeiffer, so it’s not like she’s failing to pull this off.
