The Devil Wears Prada 2 had its big, splashy premiere in New York and the whole cast came out in high style for the event. First on the roster is Andy Sachs herself, Anne Hathaway, working that devil-red branding for all its worth.

She looks gorgeous, and the dress is very dramatic and photogenic, but we don’t actually like the design all that much. Or rather, we like parts of the design, but not when they’re all together. In other words, you can have the cat-eye bust or the drop waist flouncey skirt, but both in the same look comes off a little goofy and overwrought. In addition, everything has that thick and padded look, which isn’t actually all that flattering to her. The jewelry is stunning, however. And it looks like the chunky heels are definitely back.
