One of our fave fashion memories of 2020 happened just before everything got weird: Celine Dion hitting the streets of Paris in a Moncler 8 Richard Quinn ensemble from the same collection. Maybe we’re just feeling kindly and nostalgic for Tante Celine, but we’re thrilled to see another ladystar step out in these kinds of pieces. Another thing we always say: Pop stars operate under slightly different style rules. Every ensemble has the potential to also be used as stagewear or costume. We might think the daisy motif is a bit overdone or the scalloped hem was wholly unnecessary; we might argue under different circumstances that the whole design could use a slight edit, but these are not different circumstances. For posing in front of Christmas trees are being forced to sing with Jimmy Fallon, it’s cute and fun. What more could we ask for in our celebrity fashion this year?
