Once again, we find ourselves delighted to have just enough celebrity style looks unassessed at the end of the week to compile a leftovers post. We thank the stars for these humble blessings. Now we will judge them.
Angela Bassett in Argent
LOVE this look on her. That belted-jacket look can come off clumsy a lot of the time, but she’s really suited for it, no pun intended. Okay, maybe it was a little intended. Love the sandals.
Angela Bassett in Baja East
This is cute. We thought it was a jumpsuit, but it appears to be separates. Our first impulse was to say she should have broken the pieces up, but if we think about it, pairing that top with black pants or whatever would make this a lot less interesting.
Cardi B in TLZ L’Femme
Just a quiet moment of reflection at home for Miss Cardi.
We rarely do the sports guys (even though professional sports is becoming a flashpoint of killer menswear looks), but we love this entire look on him. He can handle the snugness of the suit and the cut is just right without making him look stuffed into it. The color looks amazing on him.
Heidi Klum in Margiela (Top) and Carolina Herrera (Skirt)
The Kluminator had herself a WEEK. First, she sashayed around the Germany’s Next Top Model set in this fairly sassy-cute and sexy look. Not sure the red pumps would’ve been our suggestion, but the rest of it looks great on her. Would love to see it with the jacket on.
Heidi Klum in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini
Next, she got SUPER-EIGHTIES on our asses. It doesn’t look like much fun to wear, but it takes a hell of a picture.
Heidi Klum in Mugler
And finally, she threw all coyness out the window and basically did a little high-class stripper cosplay, because why not? Kudos to her for looking so good in it, but we can’t say we love the design.
Angelica Ross in Azzedine Alaïa
Maybe it’s the pose, but she looks a little overwhelmed by that leather corset/belt. We think the dress loses a lot if she were to take it off, but the proportions seem to be too much for her. Interesting look, though. Love her hair.
And finally, here’s Zachary, saying to hell with November and serving up a little “gays at high summer” realness.
