Okay, hockey fans! The stars of Heated Rivalry — some of them, anyway — came to the Canadian Screen Awards for a little victory lap celebration.
Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Robbie Graham-Kuntz, Brendan Brady, Hudson Williams, Jacob Tierney, Sophie Nélisse, and Nadine Bhabha
Let’s assess their efforts.
Hudson Williams in Dolce & Gabbana
Works for us. His team hasn’t always gotten his style right, but this sort of relaxed, louche vibe is exactly where it’s at for him.
Sophie Nélisse
Love that she went for a slouchy fit and she mostly looks pretty great in it, but the sloppy collar and tie are ruining the effect.
Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova
The color story is harsh to our eyes and we think the dress would have been improved with some softer choices, but it’s still pretty cute. Aside from wishing for more pastels, we would have used our magic editing want to tone down all that trim at the neckline. It’s not needed. Her hair looks spectacular.
Robbie Graham-Kuntz
Pretty much perfect. We’ll always wish for suits in non-business colors for the red carpet, but he looks way too fine for us to make an issue of it here. Still, a tie in a different color would have been welcome. The grooming is lovely. Just look at that immaculate neck.
Nadine Bhabha
We can’t blame a gal for wanting to get a little robot girl action going on for the red carpet. The skirt is gorgeous, but the bodice looks a little too craftsy to us.
