Cathy Cambridge Visits Battersea Park in Marks & Spencer

Posted on September 22, 2020

Let’s take a short break from all that Emmys fashion to check in on Duchess Cathy, getting her mom on. She stepped out to Battersea Park to meet up with parents and members of groups like the National Childbirth Trust, Parents 1st, and Better Start, who have been lending support to families, to chat about how they’ve been getting by for the last six months. More important (for us, anyway): she let Casual Cathy out of the box for a spin; possibly our favorite Style Cathy of them all. Don’t get us wrong; girlfriend can rock a tiara or a dress coat when she needs to, but she’s got a knack for casual wear. Any time Cathy puts her sneakers on, it’s a guaranteed cute look.

The proportions here are kind of insane and no one should be encouraged to try them, but somehow she’s making a pair of high-waisted cropped pink pants work for her. It’s not our fave look of hers by a long shot (we really don’t like those pants the longer we look at them and we think the top’s a bit dull on its own), but we can’t fault her for not going with what works. It definitely looks better when she’s sitting down, though. Also, we think it’s official: the Royal Hair has returned. We don’t think she’s DIYing her hair maintenance any more.
