The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a socially distanced sort of way and Mrs. Cathy served up possibly the most extreme example of her recent style swing yet. Ever since Louis was born we think her taste for countrified granny dresses (which are, to be fair, very much still in style) has grown to the point where it’s become one of her signature looks. She wore this dress for one of her Zoom appearances earlier this year, but this is the first time we’re seeing the whole thing, out and about:
It’s cute, but the cuffs are a bit too precious for our tastes and we like it much better with the white collar obscured. Looks like she’s back to getting her hair done on the regular. We admit, she surprised us a bit on the accessorizing. We weren’t expecting brown pumps at all (and don’t much love the choice) and we wouldn’t have pegged her as the type who’d do pattern-mixing with her mask choice. Still, it’s great to see them out and about again. Let’s do this again tomorrow, Cathy!
