Let us give thanks and praise to Miss Kiki, who won’t let a thing – a huge, once-a-century, history-making, paradigm-shifting THING – stop her from putting on her press tour fashions and serving lewks from her backyard to a public hungry for some fabulousness and poise right now. She slayed us with a quartet of highly styled looks last week and she has not let up her game one bit since. RESPECT.
Fenty
Like the satin suits she wore last week, she’s taking advantage of the homebound situation by sporting looks that really wouldn’t stand up to half-a-day’s publicity work at high summer. Granted we suspect she could make this work through several limo trips and press tour stops, but she’s clearly supernatural. We’re not entirely convinced the boots really go with the dress, but the overall look is so appealingly photogenic that it doesn’t matter. The hair continues to be stunning in each look.
Christian Dior
Camo Chic can go so wrong so easily and we suspect opinions will differ as to whether or not she pulled this off, but it’s a pretty stylish nod to her character’s soldier background. Our only quibble is with the literalness of the boots.
Missoni
She’s just a girl with stunning hair and a killer summer dress, leaning against a wall, asking you to check out her movie. You know, we’re kind of amazed at how easily she’s upended the conventions of a promo tour while still managing images worthy of any step-and-repeat or talk show. She looks amazing here and she sure can rock the hell out of a septum ring. Her stylists Wayman + Micah are doing SO right by her.
