We are in such a curious spot right now. Granted, that’s not the most original thought, since just about everybody is waking up every day in circumstances that will occasionally jolt them with how surreal they are, but still. We’ll try to be more specific: We’ve been saying for a while now that any celebrity who figures out a way to get themselves pulled together into some highly curated ensemble for the cameras is a celebrity who gets our respect and gratitude. We keep thinking there’s some sort of new detente being born between the world of celebrity fashion and the world of bitches like us who make their living complaining about the world of fashion. Like we’re going to be so grateful that someone got dressed up we won’t even care if the shoes don’t match or whatever.

How naive we were. This is honestly kind of hilariously awful, from the faux leather bodysuit (just sit with that one for a while) to the actual leather culottes to the neon yellow sandals, the whole ensemble looks like it was put together on a dare.

We honestly don’t have a problem with the sandals, except in how badly they coordinate with the other pieces. But man, everything above her knees is asking a lot of the world.
