You’d think Miss Margot would have taken a much more exuberant and colorful approach for this particular film’s promotional tour. After all, Harley Quinn isn’t exactly known for her subdued elegance and restrained chicness. We have to say we kind of approve. It’s good when actresses dress somewhat in the vein of the project they’re promoting but it’s definitely not a rule – and that’s especially true for any film or role based on superhero comics.
Granted, this doesn’t exactly look appropriate for a roller disco event, but we can’t blame her for not wanting to sport the satin hotpants and pigtails. It’s a striking look, but that turtleneck wounds us. We can’t help thinking there were much better, more interesting options than that. The the skirt and the boots are great. It’s the top half that needs a little something. At the very least, if you absolutely have to keep the turtleneck you’re getting access to Chanel jewelry – those earrings are pretty fabulous – get yourself a pendant with some oomph to it.
