This is probably our fault. We implored Jenny from the Block to stick to her essential J Lo-ness for her awards season promo style. “Ramp up that diva shit!” we may have cried out at one point. Welp. She listened, evidently:
We will recycle the joke we made on the twitters last night: She looks like a Macy’s Christmas display that came to life and walked away. And while the Christmas decoration jokes practically wrote themselves, in the light of day, this looks less like the holidays come to life and more like some sort of sports team ballgown; like she’s the Queen of the Cheerleader Ball or something. But jokes aside, and in the full recognition that this isn’t exactly elegantly chic, we’re starting to love it the more we look at it. It’s bold, it’s unique, it’s unforgettable and it stands out from the crowd. How is that NOT totally J Lo?
