Part of us always feels a little like we’re … we don’t know, punching down or something – when we check in on one of these overseas spokesmodel tours. It’s not a red carpet event per se and there’s usually such an underlying discomfort in the picture-posing. After all, there’s an enormous difference between “I can’t wait for you to see this, my latest project, which I am very excited about” and “Here I am… posing for money.”
Anyway, the dress coordinated extremely well with the flowers which, given that this is entirely a P.R. event, was almost certainly planned out. It takes a great picture. The shoes are kind of meh but like the dress, it makes a certain amount of sense to keep things simple so everyone can admire the results of her extensive use of Lancôme products. She certainly looks … freshly scrubbed.
