Y’know? We just got to thinking. Back when we started this bitchy gig over a decade ago, it was kind of a given that any Sienna Miller public appearance was usually accompanied by some horribly tacky or trendy ensemble. Girlfriend had a rep, is what we’re trying to say. And we think we didn’t realize until just now that we still tend to assume she has that same rep in the present day. Which is why we tend to find outfits like this so surprising:
Not because they’re shocking or trendy or terrible, but because they’re … just a really nice look. She looks great. The dress is low-key but the style suits her and the bejeweled buckle does a lot to elevate from being “just” a pretty day dress. Well-chosen shoes too. And the thing is, she tends to dress like this more often than not at this stage in her career. In other words, it’s well past the time for these two bitches to let go of their 2009 idea of Sienna as the bad girl of the red carpet. That ship sailed a while back.
