Miss Laura’s been stepping her game up in the wake of this film’s heavy awards buzz, and while the results so far have been a bit spotty, we’ve gotta say, she nailed it to the wall this time:
You might have seen us use the phrase “style sweet spot” over the years. We think the term is more or less self-explanatory, but in case you ever needed a visual aid, here’s the best one we’ve seen for the job. This is Laura Dern hitting her style sweet spot dead center. It’s about finding the best styles and vibes that work for you; the ones that almost seem to transform you to your best version. This vaguely ’70s-inspired look is perfect for her. The boots, vest (or scarf?) and metallic elements elevate the whole thing into a look that’s red carpet-ready and Laura Dern-perfect.
