Well, the reviews are out and so far, they sound pretty positive about this generation of Angels. We still remained a little puzzled by the promotional style approach, but at least these ladies all stepped up their game considerably for this premiere.
But we can safely say there was little to no attempt at coordinating. None of them look like they’re attending the same event.
Ella Balinska in Vera Wang
Kudos to Miss Elle, though. She clearly wanted her movie star moment and she grabbed it. The gown is dramatic, if fairly basic in design. In her case, the soft neutral color really sings. The makeup is flawless and the jewelry is well chosen. It’s an elegant, sexy, glamorous look.
Elizabeth Banks in David Koma
Listen, if the director of Charlie’s Angels wants to remind folks at the premiere that she’s also a movie star as well as a total babe, we say “Brava, sweetie.” Go for the sexy-glam. We would not, however, advised her to go for the tacky-glam.
Kristen Stewart in Germanier
That dress design is goofy as hell, but if there’s one thing we know, it’s that K Stew can handle goofy-as-hell fashion, especially if it’s got a ton of sparkle appeal. She almost makes you ignore the weird seatbelts all over her.
Naomi Scott in Givenchy Couture
Yeah, no. We might be convinced on the boots, but she looks like she’s being attacked by a second dress.
