We’re usually pretty supportive of Miss Emma’s Wacky Auntie style choices, but this one has us a little stumped.
Is this fun, comfy and wacky? Or is is a big-ass trenchcoat-looking thing with pants attached – pants that are way too short on her? We’re asking. We don’t think we can be talked into loving this totally because the proportions are just way off. Both the sleeves and the collar could use some editing or toning down on the volume. We think the idea of a trench-jumpsuit has some appeal to it, but this looks too much like some sort of workman’s jumpsuit. Give her an orange vest and a pointy stick and she could be picking up trash on the side of the highway. We’re just saying. We don’t think you can slap some fun footwear and hair jewelry onto a worksuit and call it stylish. But go ahead. We know how beloved she is. Defend it. Defend a Stella McCartney TrenchJump, kittens. We want to watch you do it.
