Cardi B in Sally LaPointe at Vogue Forces of Fashion Event: IN or OUT?

We think what this comes down to is us liking the idea of this suit more then the actual suit. The idea of a bi-colored leather suit on Cardi B sounds like a no brainer but we’re not super crazy about the color combination. ANd while we’re at it: the fit is a little off, those white pumps are highly questionable and bra is distracting. There just may be too many elements in play at once. On the other hand, we could see the argument that all of this is right up Miss Cardi’s alley and that she’s making it all work for her. It definitely has the right kind of high impact. We’re just not convinced the details work out. Convince us.
