Okay, so we had our normal reaction to the revelation that Miss Rosamund was gracing the red carpets of the world once again: a combination of cringe and exasperation. We can enjoy tucking into a good fashion disaster with glee, but her fashion always seems so grim somehow. And maybe that’s on us.
Nevermind. It’s definitely on her. Nothing wrong with a preference for things with a dark or hard edge to them, but we don’t know … this just doesn’t look all that great to us. The leather parts are overdone and overwhelming – or they come across that way in combination with the pointy-toed ankle strapped pumps, the blunt bob and the harsh lip color. It’s possible this dress could come off edgy and chic with the right wearer and the right kind of styling, but her preference for severity should’ve been a bit more restrained when it came to the styling. She might’ve been better off with a cleaner face and a strappy sandal.
