Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain at the “Dark Phoenix” London Fan Event

Two X-Ladies, getting X-ey with it.

This feels a little more coordinated and balanced as a pair of promotional looks when compared to yesterday’s spotlight-grabbing moment. They’re dressed specific to themselves and their preferences but there’s just enough of a visual connection between the two looks to make them look like some planning was involved.

Sophie Turner in Louis Vuitton

Girl, we love you, but you need to leave that stuff to Wonder Woman and the Wakandans. They got to it first. As for the look, it’s pretty great. Sexy, stylish, slightly casual with an activewear undertone – all perfect for a lady superhero red carpet. Love how the earrings, top and shoes are all visually tied together with silver accents. And yes, she really is making those pants work for her. She’s model-shaped, so she’s on the lowest difficulty setting when it comes to things like pleated, high-waisted jeans.

Jessica Chastain in Zuhair Murad

We thought that yellow maxi-dress from yesterday came off a bit ill-suited to her. If we had to define her promo style, it’s somewhere in the range of “sexy businesswear.” She loves column or pencil skirts and cleavage. It’s not the freshest look in the world, but it definitely suits her. This is fine. She loves black, but she looks great in color, so that’s always going to be our preference for her. The hem length’s not our fave (although shortening it would probably makes this look even less fresh) and we think black pumps, while appropriate, represent a missed opportunity to punctuate this look with something spectacular.
