Miss Dakota takes a page from baby sis Elle’s book and steps out in high pink romanticism, fit for a fairy princess.
Actually, that’s probably a bit facile of us to frame it that way. Dakota generally stays away from the frou-frou and the pastels, but pink sparkles and flower crown aside, this is more like her own take on the princess look rather than a borrow from her sister’s style. Yes the gown is pink and sparkly and has a bow and a train, but it’s all done in a modern, minimalist way that suits her much, much better than Elle’s Princess Aurora drag ever would. We could be convinced on the idea that the flowers a bit much for her and/or not a good match for this style of dress, but overall, we really like this look. It’s got that girly romance feel to it crossed with a more grownup and modern sophistication. But because this feels like a departure for her, we’re throwing this one out to a vote:
