Here’s your walking ray of sunshine, in case your morning is missing one.
Hmm. We feel the need to judge this ray of sunshine, unfortunately.
Don’t get us wrong, we really like the dress and we’re pretty happy to see her get away from her ever-present LBD and into something with some swing and hue to it. We like the style and shape for her very much. We’re not a hundred percent on that shade of yellow, but we can’t say it doesn’t work for her. The black accents are sharp, but also just a little harsh. Love that blue bag she’s sporting. We wonder if a bit more of that and a bit less of the bumblebee effect with the black accessories would be better. We’re not firm either way on that one, however. And to be honest, the only accessory that truly bugs is the too-thick, focus-pulling belt. It’s enthickening and it doesn’t really go with the style of dress, which practically begs for a skinny belt.
Bottom line: lose the belt. We can deal with the black coat and pumps because they’re fabulous.
