If nothing else, this all represents a choice and a commitment to it.

This is one of those rare instances in fashion where we’re going to be completely rigid and stuck to our firmly held beliefs. To wit: Head-to-toe denim is absolutely never, ever a good idea. Or to put it in more concrete terms, when it comes to wearing denim, you get – at most – two items at once. That’s it. Any more denim pieces than that and you are officially wearing a costume.

Miss Rita, bless her heart, is forcing us into an even more rigidly dogmatic position because she’s sporting several things that we’re fairly certain should not even exist. Namely a denim trench coat and denim thigh-high slouchy boots. These are not good things, kittens. These things should be burned. Also, tucking your too-long denim shirt into your denim micro-mini so that it flaps around like two semaphore flags for your crotch is … well, it’s something, alright. We’ll leave you to pick a word to describe it because all the one’s we’re thinking of sound way too mean.
