What a pleasant surprise this bit of unexpected drag is. What a savvy reminder to everyone that Miss Lady is still in the Oscars game and has no intention of being ignored or disregarded this time. Good for you, Ames. A suggestion, in case this ploy doesn’t result in an Oscar: PLEASE consider dressing like this THE MINUTE the press starts for one of your Oscar-grab roles and not just in the home stretch to remind everyone that you’re still a contender. You need to step out looking like a contender ALL THE TIME. Sorry. We don’t make the rules. We just stringently enforce them like someone gave us a badge or something.

Anyway, this really is spectacular, from the color to the cuffs. There isn’t a thing about it we’d change; not even her usual severe hairstyle, since it works really well with something as exuberant as this. More of this please, Miss Amy. Starting with your next film tour and then never stopping.
