Warm Fuzzy Feelings as the Cast of “Schitt’s Creek” Visit Vulture Festival 2018

Because everyone here is too adorable for words and because you really need to be watching Schitt’s Creek if you haven’t started by now.

Okay, so we can effectively skip past Noah in terms of the style discussion. Same goes for Eugene – although he really deserves some sort of awards recognition for mutating into a stylish silver fox in his old age, something no one could have predicted in his SCTV days.  As for Dan, much like his constantly derided wardrobe on the show, we would wear every single thing he’s sporting. The outfit’s a bit too colorless for us, but the shapes look great on him and we adore those Chucks. All the ladies look great, but we have to note how adorable Emily looks when she gets away from her character’s drab wear. Love Annie’s jumpsuit-and-moto combo, but we don’t think the shoes were the right choice. But the real story is Catherine O’Hara who looks simply fantastic. It’s a stylish, photogenic, seasonally appropriate look that clearly gives her confidence and makes her feel comfortable. The top half is rather plain and simple, but the pants and shoes really make the look.

Seriously. Go binge it on Netflix. While it’s a little rough in the beginning, the true value of the show is in how it mutates over time. It starts off as a somewhat crass “rich folks forced to live amongst rural rubes” comedy and without you realizing it’s happening, slowly turns into a show brimming with heart, sincerity, and exactly the kind of gently witty good humor we could all use more of right now. And literally everyone in the cast is superb.
