Reese Witherspoon in Christian Dior at “The Good Lie” Premiere

We love this dress, but we probably would have steered her away from it, if anyone asked our opinion beforehand.

It looks good on her; we’re not suggesting otherwise. But this doesn’t strike us as her style. She’s so All-American Country Club and this is so Frenchy-French that we’re feeling the juxtaposition a little too much. Or maybe we’re just upset that Jennifer Lawrence didn’t get to wear this first, because it would have suited her better and Dior seriously owes her for putting her in so many ugly frocks. We would have even accepted Marion Cotillard, because we suspect she’d work it better than anyone. Or maybe it’s the matchy lipstick, which is giving us eyelid twitches. Or maybe it’s the tricky hem, because we have issues with tricky hems. Or maybe we’re pissy little bitches who can never be happy no matter what. Haha, no. Clearly, Dior made a mistake by not consulting us first and wound up giving this one to the wrong ladystar.

One thing’s for sure. Miss Reese continues to bring her A Game to the red carpet.
