Darlings, the Cannes Film Festival is underway and you know what that means, don’t you? Lots of opportunities to be super-bitchy about overpriced celebrity clothes! Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek attended the Puss in Boots photocall. Salma is wearing a Gucci dress. Antonio is dressed in shame.

She: We like the dress in theory. The color, the proportions, the exuberant shrug – it all works on paper. The problem? The leather of the dress looks so heavy. This could have been mitigated by not wearing such heavy shoes and not sporting a somewhat severe hairstyle. Softer hair and a pair of sandals could have lightened the look up considerably. It’s not a bad look (and it would be impossible for her to look bad in comparison to him), but all we can think is how hot she must be wearing 30 pounds of leather on her back. Score: 6/10.
He: Should turn around and go back to his hotel room. Score: 1/10 – and that’s only for having all his buttons done correctly and his fly zipped.
Combined score: 3.5/10. Salma, you’re sweating your ass off and he looks like he’s working on his lawn. Beat him.
