We like to think that our constant string of snide comments about forcing stars to climb out on roofs for their London photo call has resulted in more creative uses of the city backdrop. We like to think that because we’re delusional.

We have decided that we can no longer give him credit for his sassy style choices. We realize now that there’s a bit of a lowered bar for big galoots like him, and we tend to be easily impressed when any slab of a man takes the time to get fitted for a suit. But here’s the thing: the fit and the suits are almost always terrible with him. This is not a fine or well-tailored suit. It’s a very flashy, tight one. We admit that there’s a certain savviness to dressing like a Dick Tracy villain when you already look like one, but the effect is costumey and borderline clowny. We realize he probably loathes this comparison, but The Rock has a long history of wearing finely fitted suits that are stylish and trendy without looking like costumes. He should take a page from his book.

Hey, guess what? We kinda love this. If you’re a normal person, that may not seem noteworthy, but if you’re someone who’s been reading us for any length of time and know about our longstanding hatred of black-backed florals (not to mention our longstanding opinion that Mrs. Chopra-Jonas dresses a little tacky), but the only sort of black-backed floral we’ll accept is one that’s rendered in a muted or neutral color, like this one. She looks great. The accessorizing and styling is on point, the fit is perfect, and the dress really suits her. She nailed this one. Granted, the sandals aren’t the best choice for standing on grass, but they should’ve given them some sort of platform to stand on.
