Our initial reaction to seeing Toni Collette on a red carpet: “Yay! Toni Collette is on the red carpet!” Because we all love Toni, right? She’s one of those actresses where, if you say her name in a group, everyone will light up and go on and on about how much they love her and every person will name a different performance as their absolute fave. Our second reaction to seeing Toni Collette on a red carpet?
Oh dear. This is not what we had in mind for you, Toni. We can’t get over how weirdly ugly this design is. Look at that ribbed waistband! Granted, it’s well camouflaged by about thirty pounds of wholly unnecessary lace, but still. We stared at this a long time trying to come up with edits or styling changes to fix it, but the only one that made any sense to us was “Burn it and let’s never speak of this again.”
