Say what you will about Ru, God knows everyone else already has; from disgruntled fans to disappointed Drag Race alums, but when he settles on a fave, he does actually try to support them in ways you rarely see other reality competition judges do. Sure, this is great PR for the show, especially while Emmy voting is under way (hence Ru’s well-deserved reputation for being shrewd and a bit mercenary), but it’s a great moment for Symone and a great moment for drag. They both look fabulous and we love (speaking of shrewd) Symone’s explanation for her wig.
