Princess Cathy put on her baby blue suit and headed to Italy on a solo tour. It’s notable not only for the lack of accompanying husband, but also because it’s her first time out of the country since her cancer treatment, which makes it a nice way of signaling that this Princess is feeling fine. The Princess of Wales came to Reggio Emilia, Italy, to visit the Centre Internazionale Loris Malaguizzi on behalf of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
It’s a fantastic suit, we’ve got to say. The ruching in the back is perhaps a little bulky, but we like how it gives the jacket a shape. The color looks fantastic on her and we are thrilled to an almost embarrassing level to see her working that tone-on-tone correctly. The purse is a great choice. The neutral pumps? Meh. But they’re not a dealbreaker. The royal curls are very toned down, but that might have to do with the demands of international travel. She looks great.
