Cannes Film Festival 2026: Laura Dern in Giorgio Armani at the DE GAULLE: TILTING IRON Premiere

It was a family affair for Laura Dern at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Dernsie, the documentary about her father Bruce Dern, who joined her as well as her kids on the red carpet.

Laura’s choice of gown is interesting because it’s about as classic a grande dame style as you’ll find on a red carpet. It’s the quintessential Lifetime Achievement Award gown except she’s not the one being honored here. Still, we have no real critiques. It’s a lovely style and the beading is quite beautiful, if a bit obscured by the sheer overlay. If we have any sort of quibble it’s that the pale color story isn’t the best choice for her, but it’s not a particularly pressing issue. She looks softly pretty. Her jewelry is stunning.
