There was a time when we felt the Miu Miu aesthetic was pretty straightforward. You always knew what you were going to get with a Miu Miu show: depressed Marcia Brady. A succession of retro floral shifts and baby doll-adjacent styles and mid-century princess gowns. Granted, it’s not good for a brand to get locked into any one aesthetic or style for too long, but looking over the celebrity front row at the latest show, it doesn’t feel like Miu Miu knows what it is anymore.
