And now for a couple of old hotties. The Madison stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell came to the New York premiere to show the kids how it’s done.

Of course neither of them are high fashion types, but both of them have been around long enough to know how to pull themselves together for pictures. He’s not exactly pushing the envelope with his choices or falling prey to the trends, but he looks perfectly professional. We tend to dislike too-dark ensembles for pictures, but his really sets off his hair.

As we noted last week, we’re very much in a leather moment among the celebrity set. Everybody’s out in cowhide lately. Given the western vibe and setting of this project, this ensemble makes a nice way of tipping your hat to the aesthetic without actually putting on a cowboy hat — or any other form of cliched western wear. Love the bangles. Hate the shoes. Boots might have made the look too heavy, but anything else just looks odd with it.
