We had much to get off our manly chest this week, darlings! First, we react (badly) to the idea that the Oscars should consider cancelling its red carpet because of the war in Iran and explain why that idea flies in the face of what Hollywood is supposed to be all about. Then, we dip into two late-stage Oscar campaign controversies; namely Timothee Chalamet’s asinine comments about ballet and opera and Jessie Buckley’s disappointing comments about her boyfriend’s cats. After that, it’s a look at Daryl Hannah’s measured and intelligent response to her portrayal on Love Story, and finally, we dive into Netflix’s Vladimir (although for one of us, it’s closing to “tear into”), which neither of us could bring ourselves to praise.
Thank you once again for listening, darlings!
